Today its one winding of a transformer. Tomorrow I plan on doing a larger post, and show how the pictures are taken.

A EL11 Pentode.

Before Si and Ge, there was Se diodes.

Today its time for one of the more interesting devices, a Tunnel Diode. The diode is a 3I306G off ebay.

Regular yellow LED.

Todays device is quite special. I was sure it was a Selen rectifier diode based on the looks of it, but when sweeping it, it seems more like a overvoltage protection device.
