About

I’m Thomas S. Knutsen, LA3PNA / AE5YS.  Electronics engineer, test equipment collector and RF designer.

On this blog, I mostly do write-ups of more general nature, although the hope was that it would turn into a online lab journal.  This blog is supported by my github account as well as discussions with several of those listed on the “sites I follow” page, on IRC and elsewhere.

All expressions on this blogs are my own, at the time of writing.  If you want to contribute, great! If you don’t like it. its your problem.

There has been a couple of requests to support some of my work. I like technical books, so there is a amazon list. If you want to ship me something cool, please contact me to get the address.

If you want to contact me, you can do that by sending a e-mail to myLAcallsign at gmail.com.

    Thomas,
I was able to get your Si5351 VFO working with one pass of the IDE. I’m using a Nano, and the small OLED. I can tune at the 100 Hz rate but not sure where the change rate PB plugs into the Nano. From what little I know, it looks like it should be pin 1. I don’t have a pin 1 and would like a suggestion of what pin to use by changing the script. Thanks, Jack
